Only took me way longer than I’d planned on it taking but hey, first strip of the year!

And it’s the thirteenth time I’ve done this bit! Would you believe it?

It’s not the thirteenth anniversary of the strip, of course – that’s what happens when you don’t draw any for several years. But hey, traditions are tradition.

Incidentally this strip is what happens when you write a fairly rote script, have the epiphany of “wait, Thirteen”, and then rewrite your entire script.

Then when you bounce it off a friend you pretty much get exactly the response you expected (conversation snippet reposted with permission):

Is it niche? Yep. Is it 100% on brand for me? The answer is also “yes”.

But yeah anyway I am so much very very hyped for the Age of the Primes toyline to come out! Kinda nuts it’s happening! Kinda nuts Hasbro’s doing a Titan-class Star Convoy, too! And even more nuts to assume I have space for this stuff!
