The eternal symbol of America, it is easy to mischaracterize him as a right-wing looney. This would in fact be a mistake – he is a staunch fanatical defender of the status quo and whoever is currently running the show. As time has gone on, he has essentially become the happy face etched on to promote whatever recent draconian policy has been implemented, and then to interpret it in its worst possible way.
Sure, he doesn’t represent the views of everyone. There are plenty of Americans who are not swayed by his slick PR diatribes on manifest destiny and why the government is completely justified in implementing sweeping totalitarian measures.
But to him, those people are better known as “traitors”.
