So yeah. As some of you may notice, I’ve gone and retconned character design colors. (Not that you’ll notice for long once I replace the old comics, mind.
There’s rhyme to this reason.
Namely, as I was conceiving of this comic, I started to think about how I wanted a character as a mouthpiece who WASN’T either a homage or someone I know online (given those roles are more intended to be fun cameos). And I’ve been wanting to use a certain skin tone palette for some time, simply because I consider it awesome.
So I figured I’d distance the character who was loosely based off Yoko Littner from Gurren Lagann. Yep, that’s right – Tekno’s gone and added YET ANOTHER ancillary character who’s probably not needed, AND who is also female.
One of these days I need to figure out how to write male characters who aren’t one-dimensional or villains.
Or, in the short term, write some character tagging options to handle secondary characters with little bio information so to speak; to handle all the cameos and one-offs and stuff.
And as for the green eyes? Well, given how I’ve already got one character with’em, figured why not add another?
